Everybody wants their website to be memorable and therefore successful. Unfortunately, more often than not a client will have a website in mind that draws impact in the wrong way, so it becomes memorable for the wrong reasons. Being a professional it is your job to point clients in the right direction without limiting their vision and losing their support for the project. No support = no client. A major part of the web design industry is the ability to improve an already built site. Unfortunately it is common place that many clients will not wish to put more time and money into an already established site, especially if they created it themselves! Part of being a website designer is to take any website that is thrown into your domain and release it back to the public as a reformed model of website society.
